The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage students to further their education in a career that benefits society. The Scholarship Committee of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church seeks applicants who are well-rounded, education-oriented individuals. Financial need is not a criterion; however, students who have no current major scholarships or grants in effect might be more likely to receive this award.

The Prince of Peace Scholarship Committee will select a recipient for a scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to be paid directly to the attending institution or student loan provider. In the event enrollment is delayed, enrollment must commence within one year of receipt of this scholarship unless special permission is granted by the Scholarship Committee.

The application deadline is Sunday, June 4, 2023. Please address the application envelope and mail or deliver in person to the church using the address below:
